The airport is all set to handle 15 per cent larger weekly flights within the upcoming summer schedule.
In the course of the summer schedule efficient from March 26 until October 28, the full weekly air visitors actions (ATMs) from Lucknow airport will improve as much as 926 this summer, as in comparison with present 808 per week.
The home ATMs are anticipated to extend by 16% in April — 823 as in comparison with the present stage of 706 weekly flights — whereas worldwide ATMs will improve by 3% — 104 per week.
“In the course of the summer schedule, there shall be further providers to seven home locations — Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Delhi, Mopa and Ahmedabad — and three worldwide locations — Bangkok, Muscat and Jeddah,” the CCSIA spokesperson stated.
“Thai AirAsia and Salam Air will add one weekly departure to Don Mueang Worldwide Airport, Bangkok, and Muscat respectively, whereas Saudia will add two weekly departures to Jeddah from Lucknow Airport,” the spokesperson added.
Within the home sector, GoAir will add 20 further weekly departures to Delhi, 4 to Mumbai and one to Bengaluru.
IndiGo will add eight weekly flights to Mumbai, 5 weekly flights to Bengaluru and 7 every to Kolkata and Indore, respectively.
The most recent airline Akasa Air will add one each day flight to Ahmedabad, Mopa (Goa) and Bengaluru.
The Tata Group airways — Air India and AirAsia India — will add three weekly flights to Mumbai and one weekly flight to Bengaluru, respectively.
