Mumbai Police has arrested two accused from Noida and Lucknow for allegedly dishonest individuals underneath the pretext of facilitating jobs abroad.
The accused Vikas Kumar Yadav was held from Noida and Rishabh Dubey from Lucknow, police stated.
Three laptops, 5 mobiles, 25 debit and bank cards, 64 sim playing cards, 5 chequebooks and passbooks have been additionally seized from the accused, a senior police offcial stated.
“Matunga PS of Mumbai Police arrested two accused from Noida and Lucknow-Vikas Kumar Yadav and Rishabh Dubey who have been concerned in a global job fraud. A case was registered at Matunga PS in October 2022. The complainant has been robbed of ₹1.78 Lakhs,” DCP Pravin Munde stated.
The police have registered the case underneath related sections in opposition to the 2 accused, he stated.
