PRATAPGARH: Three members of a family have been killed in a head-on collision between two cars on the Lucknow-Prayagraj freeway in UP’s Pratapgarh on Wednesday, police mentioned.
The deceased have been recognized as Rahul Srivastava, 35, his spouse Prachi, 30, and son Artha, 10, residents of Sohbatia Bagh locality in Prayagraj. They have been coming from Lucknow to have fun Holi, police mentioned.
Two others have been injured in the accident and have been referred to Prayagraj for therapy, they mentioned.
The accident occurred close to Rehmat Ali Ka Purva village underneath Manikpur police station space, about 70 kilometers from the district headquarters, police mentioned.
Further Superintendent of Police (West) Rohit Mishra mentioned 5 passengers in two cars have been critically injured in the collision and have been instantly rushed to the native hospital for therapy the place the medical doctors declared three of them useless.
