Amid the continued row over the Ramcharitmanas, the Samajwadi Occasion (SP) has requested its leaders and office-bearers to “keep away from debates on communal and religious points and talk about political-based points”.
Quoting it as celebration chief Akhilesh Yadav’s directions, SP state spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary, in a press release issued on Thursday night, stated: “All celebration staff, leaders, office-bearers, spokespersons and media panellists should understand that the Samajwadi Occasion taking inspiration from the beliefs of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (celebration icon) believes in democracy, secularism, and socialism.”
“The Samajwadi Occasion is dedicated to social justice and the celebration will proceed to demand caste census (for social justice)…underneath the current authorities costs are at peak, corruption is uncontrollable…farmers, youth and all sections of the society are distressed. Girls and ladies have been dealing with humiliation and the whole state has anarchy,” stated Chaudhary.
“The celebration goals to elevate public points and unfold its ideology and programmes among the many individuals. The ruling dispensation is constantly engaged in diversion ways to distract individuals from the essential points. Now we have to duck such ways. Religious points are delicate and we must always not get entangled in them,” he added.
