LUCKNOW The following road widening project to come up in Ayodhya shall be at Panch Kosi Parikrama Marg, for which the Ayodhya administration had issued notification and requested PWD officers to execute the project on a precedence foundation, stated district Justice of the Peace (Ayodhya) Nitish Kumar.
Merchants stated the project was giving sleepless nights to locals as it will set off another spherical of home demolitions within the temple city.
The UP authorities authorized the widening of the Panch Kosi and 14-Kosi Parikrama Marg to improve the expertise of devotees performing the ‘parikrama’ of the temple city. The previous stretch covers the core Ayodhya metropolis whereas the latter covers the outer circle of the temple city.
Three road widening tasks have been already underway in Ayodhya. The longest stretch is the 13-km ‘Ram Path’ ranging from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat. The second longest stretch is the 2-km ‘Ram Janmabhoomi Path’, which begins from Sugriv Quila to Ram temple. The shortest stretch of 0.75 km is Bhakti Path from Shringar Hat to Ram Janmabhoomi.
Over 500 outlets had been demolished for the Ram Path.
The Public Works Division (PWD) had requested all householders affected by the project to submit possession information of their land/home at its workplace on Could 20.
Manish Kumar, govt engineer, PWD, requested householders alongside the Panch Kosi Parikrama Marg to submit particulars of their possession together with Aadhaar card, PAN card and financial institution particulars. They may even have to submit identification particulars of 1 witness.
“All road widening tasks have confronted stiff resistance from merchants. Now, the administration has issued a notification for the brand new project at Panch Kosi Parikrama Marg. Merchants are nervous about their livelihood,” stated Nand Lal Gupta, dealer chief.
