After 10 days of ban, the supply of buffalo meat to Kanpur resumed on Thursday with the state air pollution management board granting permission, albeit with sure circumstances.
The board had put an embargo on the supply on the grounds that the abattoirs in Unnao have been slaughtering extra animals than permitted to meet the demand from native quarters.
Solely two of the 4 slaughterhouses in Unnao will now be allowed to resume functioning after the contemporary orders of the board.
Commenting on the event, Kanpur district Justice of the Peace Vishak G Iyer stated the provided meat would solely be offered by way of licenced store house owners.
