From soft toys to games powered by AI, fair in Greater Noida to bring 150 toy makers under one roof

Greater Noida: A 3-day B2B toys and games fair referred to as Khilona- India Toys & Games Fair 2023 in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles, Commerce and Ministry of MSME will start on the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from Friday. The fair, organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) will bring collectively over 150 companies of the toy trade, starting from medium and small exporters, artisan entrepreneurs and designers to India’s main producer exporters, mentioned officers.

As per Dileep Baid, Chairman, EPCH, the fair will congregate a full spectrum of India’s toys & games manufacturing trade. “The 12 show section will cowl 24 product classes which can characteristic all points of the trade, from equipment for kids’s room, to synthetic intelligence and robotics to soft toys and eco-friendly toys as properly,” he mentioned.

He added, “The fair resonates with the Prime Minister’s imaginative and prescient of ‘vocal for native’ and ‘atmanirbhar Bharat’ in toys and games, with an intention for India of turning into a world sourcing hub in this section”.

The present is anticipated to be visited by consumers from throughout the globe, together with USA, Canada, Germany and United Arab Emirates, added officers.

He added, “Indian toy trade is among the many fastest-growing globally, projected to attain $3 billion by 2028, rising at a CAGR (compound annual progress charge) of 12% between 2022-28. Home market dimension at present stands at an estimated worth of $1.5 billion. India’s Toy Exports witnessed a rise from US$ 203.42 million in 2018-19 to US$ 325.72 million in 2022-23.”

That is the second version of the fair which was final held in August 2022. “On the first version of the fair, enterprise enquiries price ₹22 crore had been generated,” mentioned an official.
