Varanasi: One Vinay Sharma (28) of Bhilwada district in Rajasthan, was drowned in river Ganga whereas bathing close to Tulsighat below Bhelupur police station on Thursday. Sharma had arrived Varanasi together with his associates and had gone to Tulsighat for bathing in Ganga when the incident passed off. Assi police outpost in-charge Rajkumar Verma known as NDRF divers and police after which Sharma was rescued and rushed to trauma centre of BHU the place medical doctors declared him introduced useless.
