The Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) authorities on Saturday transferred 9 Indian Police Companies (IPS) officers of further director normal (ADG), inspector normal (IG) and deputy IG ranks. Among these shifted included the police commissioner of Kanpur and the extra director normal of Agra zone.
A senior dwelling division official confirmed that the listing included Kanpur commissioner of police (CP) BP Jogdand, Agra zone ADG Rajeev Krishna and ADG Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) Naveen Arora.
Jogdand, who has been despatched as ADG of Girls and Baby Safety Organisation 1090, has been changed by Dr RK Swarnkar who was earlier posted as ADG UP Police Promotion and Recruitment Board.
