For the second time in per week, a query paper reached late at a number of examination centres of Lucknow University (LU) on Saturday. Candidates needed to wait for greater than an hour at many centres.
Nationwide College students Union of India (NSUI) laid siege to the workplace of the controller of exams, Vidyanand Tripathi, to register their protest. They mentioned that the sanctity of LU examinations was getting compromised as query paper is reaching late for the previous couple of days,
NSUI activists laid siege to the executive constructing and handed over a memorandum to the controller of examinations and warned that cognizance of the matter be taken and the problem be addressed, in any other case NSUI will begin a giant motion.
On Tuesday too, a whole lot of examinees needed to wait for lengthy hours within the examination corridor as the query paper arrived late.
Commenting on Saturday’s delay, Durgesh Srivastava, LU spokesperson, mentioned that the delay was precipitated as a result of breakdown of the car bringing the query paper.
In the meantime, Prof AK Rai, vice-chancellor, LU, has assured that there could be no such delay sooner or later.
