Lucky escape for UP minister Suresh Rahi as his SUV collides with tractor-trolley in Gorakhpur | Varanasi News

GORAKHPUR: It was a fortunate escape for Uttar Pradesh jail minister Suresh Rahi when his official automobile collided with a tractor-trolley in Gorakhpur on Sunday.
The minister was unhurt, nevertheless, his automobile suffered injury.

The accident came about at Sahajanwan police station intersection whereas the minster was en path to Deoria from Lucknow.
Sahajanwan SHO Nitin Raghunath Srivastava reached the spot and took the minister to a resort in his automobile. Later, the minister left for Deoria.
Police seized the tractor and detained the motive force.
“Minister Rahi was going to attend a programme in Deoria district,” the police mentioned.
“Round 3pm, whereas the convoy of the minister was beneath the foot overbridge close to Sahajanwan intersection, a tractor-trolley laden with bricks collided with the minister’s automobile and an escort,” the SHO added.
