A Noida authority accountant, recognized as Bhim Kumar, was suspended after allegedly attending a public event in an inebriated state, officers conscious of the matter stated.
A video capturing the incident circulated broadly on social media, exhibiting Kumar partaking with residents whereas showing visibly intoxicated.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon through the ‘Noida Aapke Dwaar’ program organized in a village in Sector 51, Hoshiarpur the place Kumar was supposed to handle the grievances of the village residents, officers stated.
Nevertheless, upon taking cognizance of the video and receiving complaints from officers, the Noida authority took swift motion by suspending Kumar. They said that his behaviour had broken the authority’s public picture.
