The members of Lucknow College Related School Teachers’ Affiliation (LUACTA) will on Tuesday stage a dharna on the Lucknow College campus to press for their demand for restoration of the old pension scheme and growing the retirement age of academics to 65 years.
Other demands of the academics’ body embrace withdrawal of biometric attendance, removing privatisation of schooling, 5 increments to PhD academics, shifting of upper schooling directorate to Lucknow, cashless medical amenities and go away encashment amongst others.
Diploma schools’ academics have been staging a symbolic protest by placing black ribbon from August 16 to 21 whereas persevering with their work.
