A village panchayat in Uttar Pardesh’s Hapur district handed out a punishment of slapping a younger boy with ‘chappal’ in public for allegedly circulating a recording of his chat with a girl on social media.
A criticism was filed by the girl in Bahadurgarh police station in Hapur district on August 13 in opposition to the boy.

Sinha mentioned that police have requested the boy to lodge a criticism in opposition to the villagers however no such criticism has been obtained but. “We will’t authenticate the video by which the girl was seen slapping him with chappal,” mentioned Sinha.
