LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government has launched a campaign to empower girls from the underprivileged class, an official stated on Sunday.
In accordance to an announcement, the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan will work below the Aarohini Initiative Coaching Programme for the security and safety of girls in 746 Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Faculties within the state.
Director Basic of Faculty Training Vijay Kiran Anand stated the primary goal of the Aarohini programme, which might be carried out in three phases, is gender sensitisation.
Within the first section, which is able to begin on February 1, academics might be educated.
Two academics of each Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ Faculty will obtain the coaching, who will then educate the scholars of their respective colleges, the assertion stated.
Together with the academics, the establishment may even groom the girls by means of debates and different actions, it added.
