Former Uttar Pradesh cupboard minister and MLA from Allahabad West Sidharth Nath Singh on Monday defended chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who, he mentioned, would make mafias bite the mud.
Stating that there has by no means been any duality in the CM’s statements and actions, the MLA added: “The BJP in its manifesto had promised to undertake zero tolerance in the direction of criminals and crime. It’s in accordance with this that Uttar Pradesh is being free of goons and mafias at this time. These empires of criminals and mafias have been created by the Samajwadi Social gathering over the final 30 years.”
On Monday’s incident in Prayagraj, the place a person allegedly concerned in the lawyer Umesh Pal’s homicide was shot down by police, Singh termed the incident a significant success for the Prayagraj police and a befitting reply to the opposition leaders who have been elevating questions over the motion taken until now in the case.
“The Uttar Pradesh authorities will write the ultimate chapter in the Umesh Pal case,” he added.
